From the CEO’s Desk:

As I write this in August 2022, it has been 7 years since the birth of the Idea of Levram.

   This idea, of starting a venture to build an enterprise to manufacture quality healthcare benefitting customer’s has germinated from an idea to a reality spread amongst 4 manufacturing units with over 800 + strong team, hundreds of dealers, more than 10 countries of customers and hundreds of suppliers. These stakeholders have allowed us to serve billions of customers over the last 5 years who have used our array of products. 

     The decade has allowed us to understand the landscape of healthcare where more than 75% devices in India were imported and very few manufacturers were competitive in exports. This situation trickled down to make a lot of healthcare inaccessible to customers wanting quality diagnosis and solutions. But in this grave situation we saw an opportunity to cater to a grave need of customers. 

    Levram over the last 5 years of manufacturing has quietly revolutionized the manufacturing of pre-analytical products. Levram can proudly claim to be the first and only Indian manufacturer of products like PET tubes in its various sizes, pediatric vials, MSN needles, Culture containers, ABG syringe system, PRP therapy which form a vital need in the Healthcare industry. We have gone a step further to backward integrate most processes to control quality, costs and be immune to supply chain challenges. 

    Levram was a proud supplier of VTM kits and much in demand products like COVID 19 swab sticks in the pandemic along with various other products used in diagnostic testing of hospitalized patients. The company for this was even recognized by BIRAC, the prestigious medical association. 

    The confidence from our customers has encouraged us to double our efforts and expand our product basket. The future is bright for Indian diagnostics with the market increasing with increasing primary healthcare setups by various agencies along with increase in insurance programs. Our capacity, proximity to the ports and adherence to quality have made Levram a preferred supplier in the work for Diagnostic consumables for the world. Levram has passed various audits and complied with ISO 9001, IS0 13485, WHO-GMP and EU-CE. 

    We have a young energetic professional team helming affair. We have been lucky to provide great opportunities in a young life span for over 200 engineers, product technicians, researchers, sales personnel, financial accountants, and other enthusiastic professionals who come to work every day wanting to make an impact in the Healthcare industry. We will continue to strive to make a hotbed for leading professionals who want to see a long rewarding career. 

    Going forward we will be manufacturing and marketing various diagnostic kits, increasing our plastic medical products SKUs and keeping our ears in the ground for other products in need by the medical customer in India. Healthcare in general and Diagnostics will have a lot of new technology enabling better and more accurate diagnosis. Levram looks forward to being at the forefront of being a provider in this industry.
