Sodium Citrate Tubes are used to collect, transport and store blood samples for coagulation testing to aid in the identification and treatment of coagulopathy. Its uses include – Prothrombin Time(PT), Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time(APTT), Thrombin Time(TT), Fibrinogen, Fibrin Degradation Products (FDP) and D-dimer etc.

INSTRUCTIONS :
- Invert the tube 8-10 times immediately after drawing the blood.
- The mixing ratio is 1 part of citrate to 9 parts of blood ( for 3.2 % tube ).
- The mixing ratio is 1 part of citrate to 4 parts of blood ( for 3.8 % tube ).
